The spirit of this enterprise
While Measure Publishing undertakes a good deal of management and administration for fiction and non-fiction books, classical recordings, rare opera CD’s and rare video recordings, rare books, highly specialized newsletters, niche magazines, and other such products, at its heart Measure is a book publishing company with two independent literary divisions: Chickadee Prince Books (fiction) and Measure Books (non fiction). Our principal mission is to introduce titles and authors to readers who are hungry for great narratives, and intellectually clear and astute non-fiction, providing the kind of experience that engages the “buyer” as a serious, sophisticated consumer of literature and opinion.
We avoid much of what is popular in today’s marketplace, optimistically believing that thoughtful, well crafted works of art will endure and out pace the competition – earning a special place in our readers’ hearts and minds.
